Janet Jackson Returns to Vegas
Janet Jackson is returning to the Las Vegas strip.
This week, the five-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee unveiled her new residency, Janet Jackson: Las Vegas.
The "Control" singer will play ten gigs at Resorts World Las Vegas' Resort World Theatre between December 30, 2024 and February 15, 2025.
The residency is hosted by AEG and follows Jackson's Together Again tour, which began in 2023 and became her best-selling tour to date, according to a press release from her representatives.
"Janet Jackson is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in pop music," Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, said on Wednesday. "We could not be more thrilled to close out 2024 with her return to the Las Vegas Strip and her venue debut at our award-winning Resorts World Theatre, and to kick off 2025 with a run of sure-to-be-unforgettable shows."
Jackson rushed to Instagram to share her joy.
"This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!!" she said along with the post.
The Together Again tour, which commemorates the singer's 50th anniversary in entertainment, focuses on career milestones such as 20 years of Damita Jo, 35 years of Rhythm Nation, and 38 years of Control.
The tour's European leg ends on October 13, 2024, just two months before the residency begins.
Tickets for Janet Jackson: Las Vegas will be available on AXS.com beginning Wednesday, August 28 at 10 a.m. PT.
Jackson's latest residency marks her return to the Las Vegas Strip following her Metamorphosis residency in 2019, which commemorated the 30th anniversary of her Rhythm Nation album.
Residency dates are below:
December 2024: 30, 31
January 2025: 3, 4
February 2025: 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, 15
