Halle Berry Thank you fans for making 'The Union' Netflix's #1 movie
Halle Berry has expressed gratitude for the success of her new action comedy, The Union.
The Oscar-winning actress took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank fans for making The Union the number-one film on Netflix in the United States since its premiere on August 16.
"The Union is the top-rated film on @netflix for the second consecutive weekend. "I'm seeing all the fan love, and you guys never fail to make me feel so grateful, so I'm sending all the love (and kisses) right back," Berry wrote.

The Emoji Movie, released by Sony Pictures in 2017, was second on the streamer ranking, followed by the 2018 Kevin Hart comedy Night School, the 2023 Dreamworks picture Trolls Band Together, and The Lorax from 2012.
Berry stars in The Union as a spy who hires her former high school boyfriend, played by Mark Wahlberg, on an espionage assignment.
The film also features J.K. Simmons, Lorraine Bracco, Dana Delany, Mike Colter, and Jackie Earle Haley.
Berry previously stated regarding the film, "The Union does the dirty work for the CIA and FBI." When you truly need the task done, you call to this set of people.
Julian Farino directs the spy comedy, based on Joe Barton and David Guggenheim's screenplay. Producers include Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, and Jeff Waxman.
