The network also released a first peek shot from the upcoming series.
The scene depicts Chris' family eating at a restaurant, and everything does not appear to be fine.
Chris Rock will narrate stories inspired by his experiences growing up in the late 1980s with his working-class family in Brooklyn, just as he did in the original.
Terry Crews, who played Chris' diligent and thrifty father Julius in the original series, and Tichina Arnold, who played Chris' strong-willed mother Rochelle, will return to play their respective characters.
Tim Johnson Jr., a former Disney and Nickelodeon star, will play Young Chris, and Ozioma Akagha, from Deliah, will play Rock's younger sister and family baby, Tonya.
Former Henry Danger star Terrence Little Gardenhigh will voice Rock's "cooler" sibling Drew and Rock's "only friend in school" Gunnar Sizemore, from Kung Fu Panda, voices Greg.
Rock will executive produce alongside Ali LeRoi, showrunner Sanjay Shah, and Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky of 3 Arts Entertainment.
CBS Eye Animation Productions, the animation subsidiary of CBS Studios, is producing. Titmouse is the animation studio that created Everybody Still Hates Chris.
Titmouse is the studio behind popular adult animated shows such as Netflix's Big Mouth and Adult Swim's The Venture Bros and Metalocalypse.
Everybody Still Hates Chris will air on Comedy Central on Wednesday, September 25 at 10 ET/PT.
