Here is the description: Tarrell (Holland) is a renowned American painter who lives with his wife, singer Aisha (Day), and their little son, Jermaine. Tarrell's artwork extracts beauty from his youth's sorrow, while also keeping old traumas in check. His route to success is sidetracked by an unexpected visit from his estranged father, La'Ron (Jelks), a conscience-stricken man seeking reconciliation. Tarrell's mother, Joyce (Ellis-Taylor), a devout woman with a deep and happy spirituality, wishes Tarrell will open his heart to forgiveness, allowing them all another chance to be a family. In this gritty and extremely moving drama, Tarrell and La'Ron discover that forgetting can be more difficult than forgiving.
