Daredevil is back

The upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again will see Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, respectively. The show's new trailer suggests that Disney is continuing to explore more mature themes, which is fitting given that Daredevil's story is one of the grittier ones in the Marvel universe. In the series, Murdock, a blind lawyer, takes on the role of a vigilante to fight Wilson Fisk, the city's most powerful crime boss.

The official synopsis for "Daredevil: Born Again" describes the story of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened senses who fights for justice through his law firm. Meanwhile, former mob boss Wilson Fisk is pursuing his own political endeavors in New York. As their past identities resurface, the two men find themselves on an unavoidable collision course. The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, along with a talented ensemble cast including Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal.

Showrunner and executive producer for the show is Dario Scardapane. Also serving as executive producers are Kevin Feig, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Matt Corman, Chris Ord, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead. Episodes are directed by Benson, Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd.

The series comes to Disney+ on March 4 at 9 p.m.
