Colman Domingo stays booked and busy
Colman Domingo, star of "The Madness," will take on the role of game show host in the dystopian world of "The Running Man" reboot. Domingo will play a version of Damon Killian, the host of a deadly game show that forces convicts to play for their freedom, originally portrayed by Richard Dawson in the 1987 film based on Stephen King's novel.
While it remains unclear whether Domingo's character will retain the name Damon Killian, it appears that he will differ from Dawson's portrayal in terms of villainy.
Edgar Wright's new film, The Running Man, is coming to theaters on November 7th. The movie stars Glen Powell as Ben Richards, a police officer who is wrongly convicted and forced to participate in a deadly game show. Powell takes over the role from Arnold Schwarzenegger, who starred in the original film. The film also stars Daniel Ezra, Katy O'Brian, Karl Glusman, and Josh Brolin. Brolin plays a television executive who, according to Deadline, will be the film's main villain.
