Colman Domingo Stars in “The Madness”

Netflix has released first look photographs for The Madness, a new horror series starring Colman Domingo.

Here is the logline:

In The Madness, television pundit Muncie Daniels (Domingo) must defend his innocence and his life after discovering a murder deep in the Poconos forests. To survive, Muncie must reunite with his estranged family - and his abandoned principles.
Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski, and Thaddeus J. Mixson (TJ Mixson) also appear in the series. Despite not being mentioned as a prominent cast member, Deon Cole is revealed to be portraying a character in the first look photographs.

"Everything about this conspiracy thriller excited me," Domingo told Netflix's Tudum about the series. "I'd never seen or experienced a protagonist like this before. Someone who has extremely moderate values, and suddenly they're being thrown into the world to actually believe in anything and rethink the people they thought were potential foes. You realize you have more in common with them than you imagined at first. I believe it reveals a lot about who we are now and what we are prepared to accomplish, as well as who is truly pulling the strings and for whose benefit."

Stephen Belber is the creator and co-showrunner. VJ Boyd is also co-showrunner and executive producer. Clément Virgo, a film and television director who recently made Brother starring Aaron Pierre, Lamar Johnson, and Blake from The Madness, directs and executive produces this picture. Additionally, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kaitlin Dahill serve as executive producers.

The Madness premieres on November 28.
