Tia Mowry Tearfully Details Her Life After Divorce in Trailer for WE Television Reality Show
Tia Mowry will discuss her life after divorce in the new WE tv reality series Tia Mowry: My Next Act.
The eight-episode sitcom premieres on October 4, with episodes also available on AMC Network's ALLBLK platform.
The series follows Mowry as she "navigates her newly single status, a new phase of motherhood, as well as building businesses and juggling her ever-evolving career," according to a press release from WE TV on September 4.
In the show's new teaser, the actress explores the problems she experiences after parting from former spouse Cory Hardrict.
Mowry and the Divorce in the Black actor were married in 2008. She revealed on Instagram in 2022 that they were parting ways owing to irreconcilable issues. Their divorce was formalized in April 2023, following 15 years of marriage.
"I became weary of people assuming everything was perfect when it wasn't. You want to know what actually happened? "I will tell you," Mowry says in the trailer.
Special visitors, including her on-screen sister, Sister mom, and actor Jackée Harry, offer her advise. As the two ladies sat on a couch together, Tia acknowledges that returning to the dating pool is frightening.
"You've gotta get out there and have fun. "It's hunting season, child," Harry cheerfully says.
Tia appears to agree with the suggestion and dresses up for a girls' night out in Las Vegas; in subsequent scenes of the trailer, she is shown on other dates.
Tia Mowry: My Next Act is executive produced by Mowry, Adam Griffin, and Erin Richard.
Jesse Collins Entertainment's executive producers include Dionne Harmon, Madison Merritt, Elaine Metaxas, and Jesse Collins, with Tahira Francis serving as co-executive producer. Rodney Holland also serves as co-executive producer.
