The Trailer for Magazine Dreams Drops
Jonathan Majors takes on the role of an amateur bodybuilder with ambitions for greatness in the 2023 Sundance Film Festival favorite Magazine Dreams. The film, originally shelved by Searchlight Pictures following Majors' arrest in 2023 and subsequent conviction in 2024 for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, has been acquired by Briarcliff Entertainment and is set for a March 21 theatrical release.The newly released trailer highlights the film's emotional depth and showcases the acclaim it received before Majors' legal troubles. As executive producer and star, Majors portrays a bodybuilder whose relentless pursuit of success leads him into dangerous territory, both mentally and physically.Briarcliff CEO Tom Ortenberg announced that Briarcliff will purchase Magazine Dreams and stated that Briarcliff wants to bring the film to the masses.

Elijah Bynum, the writer and director, expressed his relief in a statement that his film will finally be released to a mainstream audience.
