The emotional second season of 'Love & Marriage: Detroit' premieres.
"I'm tired," newly separated Kristina Bowman-Smith tells her estranged husband through tears in the second season teaser of Love & Marriage: Detroit. Along with Brandon and Kristina, the OWN reality series follows two additional couples: Russell and Kolby Harris and Anthony and Dr. Latoya Thompson.
“Kristina re-evaluates her marriage to Brandon and restarts her singing career. Kolby and Russell clash over the possibility of having another child, while LaToya struggles to balance her work as a doctor and wine entrepreneur and family as a wife to Anthony,” the official synopsis reads.
The show's three spouses are driven to succeed in their society and provide the greatest lives for their family.
Season 2 will also introduce two new couples: Marcel and Kimberly Dobine and Bravo and Lekeita Samuels.
Kingdom Reign Entertainment produced the unscripted series. Carlos King, the creator of the Love & Marriage franchise, serves as executive producer.
King and OWN began working together in April 2021, when he signed a partnership with the network and premiered Love & Marriage: Huntsville.
Along with Huntsville and Detroit, the brand also includes a series set in Washington, D.C.
Season 2 of Love & Marriage: Detroit will premiere on Saturday, September 7 at 9/8c, before moving to its usual time slot of 8/7c on Saturdays beginning September 14.
The first episode will run immediately following the season finale of Love & Marriage: Huntsville.
