The law enforcement drama has been terminated by CBS after three seasons, The Hollywood Reporter reported on Friday.
The producers and performers of the NCIS spinoff had been awaiting word on whether or not it would be renewed for a fourth season.
The series will now conclude with the season 3 finale broadcast on Monday, May 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, as a result of the cancellation.
The police drama follows a fictitious group of Hawaii-based naval criminal investigators of the highest caliber.
As Jane Tennant, the inaugural female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor, Vanessa Lachey predominates the ensemble. High-stakes crimes involving military personnel and national security are investigated by her team.
Following the cancellation of NCIS: Los Angeles, LL Cool J rejoined the cast this season and reprised his role as Sam Hanna.
Alex Tarrant, Jason Antoon, Kian Talan, Noah Mills, Tori Anderson, and Yasmine Al-Bustami also appear in the series.
The CBS Studios-produced drama debuted in September 2021.
This season, NCIS: Hawai'i has an estimated 7.8 million viewers on average, per Nielsen data. The episode's viewership increases to approximately 10 million over the course of 35 days of multiplatform viewing on TV and streaming.
CBS renewed The Equalizer for a fifth season this week. The crime drama maintains comparable viewership across multiple platforms, averaging 7.8 million viewers per week, with 10 million viewers during the live+ 35-day period.
Additionally during this month, the network renewed its orders for new seasons of its FBI dramas, including FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted, after previously terminating S.W.A.T.
