Cassie’s Lawyer responds

 Cassie, aka Casandra Ventura, who was his former girlfriend. The two were in a relationship between 2005 and 2018. She cited the Adult Survivors Act. A New York law that permitted victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to file a civil law suit regardless of the statute of limitations The meticulous allegations notated in the suit left many of Combs business associates to sever ties with him, as well as make many who had been issuing allegations against the hip-hop entrepreneur feel validated. The settlement between the two parties, which occurred the following day, ironically marked the inception of Combs's legal tribulations.
