A Knives Out Mystery: Wake Up Dead Man Brings Back Benoit Blanc

Get ready for Benoit Blanc's return in "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery," the third film in Rian Johnson's acclaimed series. While we've only had a sneak peek of Daniel Craig as the beloved Southern detective from a photo shared by Johnson during filming, a new image has surfaced featuring Craig alongside Knives Out newcomer Josh O'Connor, known for his role in "The Crown."

In 2019's Knives Out, we were introduced to Blanc as he investigated the death of author Harlan Thrombey. Blanc partnered with Marta Cabrera to navigate a complex case filled with disgruntled family members and misdirection. Blanc's expertise was needed again in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, where he traveled to Greece to unravel the secrets surrounding tech billionaire Miles Bron and his associates. The film concluded with Blanc contemplating recent events on the beach of Bron's Greek island estate. The fiery ending of Glass Onion also hinted at a new beginning for the detective.
