The comedy community is coming together to pay tribute to a respected member, standup comedian and actor Sinbad, at this year's "Netflix Is a Joke Fest."
The tribute ceremony will acknowledge Sinbad's comedic achievements and raise funds for his medical treatment following a stroke, as stated by Netflix in their announcement.
Funds generated from the event will support the Sinbad Special Needs Trust, which was created to offer financial assistance for his rehabilitation.
As previously stated, the renowned comedian experienced a stroke on October 25, 2020, and he now requires intensive physical therapy.
