Kevin & Kenan team up for Paris Olympics

Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson will collaborate this summer for the Paris Olympics.

The duo is set to jointly host a new series titled "Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson," which will be available for streaming on Peacock during the duration of the games.

In a press statement released on Tuesday, April 30, Peacock announced that the pair will be revisiting the most memorable and surprising moments from the 2024 Olympics during the course of the Games.

The 8-episode program will showcase a combination of in-studio contests, discussions, and interviews.

“We can’t wait to be a part of the Paris Olympics and help hype up the audience with highlights from the best moments of the Games. We’re going for gold, everybody!” Hart said in a statement.

Thompson added, “Kev and I are super excited to be part of the Paris Olympics by recapping performances from some of the world’s best athletes. Let’s go Team U.S.A.!”

The series represents the third partnership between Hart and Thompson, after their successful New Year's review specials on Peacock in 2022 and 2023.

Both stars serve as executive producers on the upcoming show along with Jeff Clanagan, Bryan Smiley, David Nickoll, Luke Kelly-Clyne, and Kevin Healey. JC Del Barco is currently fulfilling the role of co-executive producer. Leslie Small is the director.

In the U.S. this year, the 2024 Paris Olympics Games will be exclusively available for streaming on Peacock. This marks the first occasion that the platform will offer a comprehensive coverage of all 329 medal events across every sport, providing fans with access to live and on-demand Olympic content.

"The program 'Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson' is scheduled to begin on July 26th, coinciding with the date of the Opening Ceremony." The series will comprise of a total of 8 episodes, which will be released in groups of 2-3 episodes per week until the conclusion of the Olympics on August 11th.

The dates designated for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 are July 26 to August 11.
