Golden Bachelor is not golden anymore

The fairy-tale ending did not endure for Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, the couple from The Golden Bachelor.

Only three months after their televised wedding on ABC, the couple announced on the episode of Good Morning America airing on Friday, April 12 that they have decided to split up.

"Theresa and I have had several honest conversations," Turner explained. "We have discussed our living situation and have mutually agreed that it is probably time for us to end our marriage."

Nist stated,"“We have received so much love and support from so many people who watched The Golden Bachelor, and I don’t think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope. We want none of that to change for anybody.”
