"Fight Night" Teaser: Kevin Hart Warns There's trouble ahead.
"Something is bound to happen," Kevin Hart says in the teaser trailer for Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.
A major crime occurs just moments thereafter.
The Peacock Limited Series tells the infamous story of an armed heist on the night of Muhammad Ali's historic 1970 comeback fight.
The true crime drama will be released in September and has an all-star ensemble.
Hart stars as "Chicken Man," a hustler looking to advance. The ensemble features Samuel L. Jackson as "Frank Moten," Taraji P. Henson as "Vivan Thomas," Don Cheadle as "JD Hudson," and Terrence Howard as "Cadillac Richie."
Chicken Man throws an afterparty for "the baddest mothers around" to commemorate the highly anticipated boxing battle. However, the celebration deviates and culminates in one of Atlanta's most blatant heists in history.
When he is accused of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man attempts to clear his identity. But first, he must persuade his old nemesis, J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first Black detectives in the city's desegregated police force, that he is innocent.
Dexter Darden makes a special appearance as "Muhammad Ali." The series also stars Chloe Bailey, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Lori Harvey, and Sinqua Walls.
The drama is based on the Will Packer-produced iHeartPodcast "Fight Night," as previously reported. Packer serves as an executive producer alongside Kevin Hart and Sabrina Wind.
