Cassie’s Husband Alex Fine writes supportive statement

Alex Fine, Cassie Ventura's husband, has issued a statement following the release of video footage showing Sean "Diddy" Combs severely assaulting Ventura.
The footage, published on Friday, May 17, showed a man resembling Combs punching and repeatedly striking Cassie in the corridor of a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

Shortly after CNN released the hotel surveillance footage, Fine shared an image of a self-written letter about domestic violence on Instagram. Fine said in the caption to have written the letter.
“awhile back” but the words “ring true not just today but every day.”

The model and fitness trainer began her letter by addressing male abusers and their enablers.

“Men who hit women aren’t men,” Fine wrote. “Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men.”

Adding “As men, violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable — check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved… Men who hurt women hate women.”

Fine then gave soothing words to those who had faced abuse.

“To all the survivors, find the men and women who help and love. To all the survivors, your stories are real, and people believe you,” Fine added. “I want to raise my daughters in a world where they are safe and loved.”

Fine finished by writing, “To all the abusers, you’re done…”
