Cardi B Cancels One Musicfest due to healthcare scare

On Wednesday, October 23rd, the rapper took to social media to reveal that she had experienced a "medical emergency" that resulted in her hospitalization, leading to her decision to withdraw from her scheduled performance at the festival.

“I am so sad to share this news, but i’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I wont be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” she began in a short statement. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t Worry. Love yall.”

Cardi B, one of the headliners alongside Victoria Monét, Gunna, Glorilla, Jill Scott, Earth, Wind & Fire, Nelly, and Method Man, was scheduled to perform at the two-day festival that was set to take place on Saturday and Sunday.

However, this news comes with a disheartening update. Just over a month after welcoming her third child, Cardi B is currently in the midst of a divorce from her partner, Offset. According to reports from PEOPLE, the relationship between the two is far from amicable, despite their expressed desire to coparent.
