Abbott Elementary is Back for Season
The ABC sitcom created by and starring Quinta Brunson has been renewed for a fifth season. This makes "Abbott Elementary" the first ABC series renewed for the network's 2025-26 fall/winter lineup. The series announced the renewal in a fun video featuring the series’ school kids telling fans the good news.
"Abbott Elementary", the hit ABC series starring Quinta Brunson as Janine, an enthusiastic teacher in an underfunded Philadelphia elementary school, has been renewed for a fourth season. The show, which also features Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Janelle James, and William Stanford Davis, quickly gained popularity after its 2021 debut and has received numerous awards and nominations. Season four, which includes a crossover episode with "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," airs Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. on ABC. The renewal announcement was made in a lighthearted video featuring the show's school children.
